Hello! My name is Diana Garcia De Alba, and I am proud to share my journey of becoming part of CWA with you. As a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I have extensive experience providing mental health services to individuals, couples, and families in both English and Spanish. With over 15 years of experience, I have worked with diverse populations, addressing issues such as trauma, relationship dynamics, and mental health challenges.
Most of my experience includes working with children, teens, adults, seniors, victims of crime, and families facing dynamic changes due to social service involvement, all within a nonprofit setting. I am deeply committed to fostering emotional well-being and providing compassionate, holistic care to vulnerable communities.
As a board member of CWA, I am passionate about integrating mental health awareness into the organization’s mission. My expertise in therapeutic interventions and understanding of systemic issues provides valuable insights into programs aimed at supporting underserved populations. Having served on previous boards, I am honored to contribute to CWA's growth and expansion, ensuring that others have access to mental health services when needed.
In addition to my role at CWA, I maintain a private practice and collaborate with local organizations to promote mental health advocacy. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy exploring innovative ideas, both in business and community initiatives, that allow my family and I to “pay it forward” in hopes of creating a better tomorrow. This mindset helps me stay grounded and connected to my community.
